In this episode, I'm sharing the biggest mistake I've made as an OBM. I've learned the hard way that it's important to stick to your process, even if it means disappointing your client in the short term. When you change your process for a client, you're essentially throwing away all of your experience and expertise. You're also putting all of the risk on yourself. If things don't go well, the client will be unhappy and it will be your fault. It's important to be open-minded and flexible, but it's also important to know when to stand your ground. If you're not confident in a client's request, it's best to say no. It's better to disappoint a client upfront than to have them be unhappy with the results later. I hope this episode helps you avoid making the same mistake I did. Remember, it's okay to say no.
