This podcast is dedicated to Lucky Church’s brother, Derrick “LABEIJA” Davis, a gay man who danced for the hour of LABEIJA for decades.
Derrick passed away last February.

He has worked with giant brands like Fat Joe, Nike, Universal Records, The Grammy Awards, DJ Khalid, and Wu-Tang Clan.
I met Lucky Church at an event at the Friars Club about 10 years ago and instantly connected when I told him I was gay.
He let me know immediately he was an ally when he told me he had a gay brother, Derrick “LABEIJA” Davis.
I love many things about Lucky Church, but the one thing I love the most, he let me know at the start, that he has my back.
I’ve never needed him for anything, but I know he has my back, and that feels good 😌
