Host Reed Galen is joined by former FBI Agent Peter Strzok to discuss Russian interference in the 2016 and 2020 elections with a particular focus on the recent revelation that Russia is funding right-wing influencers to spread disinformation. Russia's tactics have evolved from creating fake personas on social media to finding existing influencers who align with their narratives. Strzok also addresses the legal liability of these influencers and the ongoing investigation into Russian interference. Plus, the need for transparency when combating disinformation campaigns, the potential dangers/strategies of the Trump administration if he were to win the election, and the risk of unchecked power.
