24: Sean Durkin, My Intern
Manage episode 338707423 series 3318999
"I would joke with my parents that I do 90% of the video production at a video production company"
Welcome to the SWFL Business Podcast, where we interview business owners in the Southwest Florida area to learn about their business and where they're heading.
Today's episode is a little different because I will be interviewing my summer intern, Sean Durkin.
In this episode, Sean and I discuss knowing your worth and the value you bring, going with the flow, learning and evolving together, and what Sean got out of this experience.
At first I didn't know if I needed an intern, but Sean has been such a great help, and I wouldn't have been able to grow the business without him. The time he afforded me was priceless because I could go out and sell, and I can't thank him enough for that. He was my first employee and I'd like to think that I learned as much from him as he did from me.
I hope you find this interview as interesting as I did. Let me know what you think.
