Pantoro continues steady gold production at the Norseman Project in Western Australia, producing more than 21,000 ounces in the September quarter, marking a 3% increase on the previous quarter. The company reported earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of $32.5 million, with an all-in sustaining cost (AISC) of $2,395 per ounce. As of September 30, 2024, the company’s cash and gold balance rose by $8.5 million, reaching $112.3 million. Operational highlights include the early cessation of mining at the Scotia Open Pit on September 28 and the completion of Green Lantern mining on October 11. Production at the OK Underground Mine increased to 9,661 ounces and planning has commenced for a new open pit at Princess Royal Mining Centre, expected in March 2025. At the Scotia Underground Mine, 1,076 metres of drilling was completed, revealing high-grade mineralisation. The Norseman processing plant functioned well, processing 292,718 tonnes, though disruptions caused a loss of six days, reducing output by approximately 1,000 ounces.
