In today’s study, we cover one of the most infamous passages within the book of John.
This section is under much scrutiny by scholars, and we discuss why this is, and give our opinion on the matter. We examine every angle we could think of concerning this adulterous woman, and her situation. The Pharisees want to see what Jesus would do, but He surprised them once again! We believe this setting is so full of grace and mercy, it should compel all who read it to desire to have Christ in their lives. In our Q&A segment, we were asked an intriguing question: My question is concerning the "daughter of Zion" that is mentioned in scripture several times. There are a total of 34 verses about this, all of which are found in the Old Testament. Do these verses (or at least some of them) represent the church? Could this be speaking of a certain group of people, such as the 144,000 of Revelation?
