Katie has spent a career in in the world of social services. Her work as a clinician, a consultant, and a frequent trainer and speaker on the topic of creating more trauma-responsive systems focused on improving the lives of children, youth, and families -- and the art of 'getting comfortable with being uncomfortable' while in the process of that growth -- has remained a joy and true passion for over 20 years.
