As a young boy, Terrence found that people sought his counsel for some reason, including adults. His career in counseling and education fit perfectly into that flow. His story bridges the inner and outer worlds with great reflection from his tenure in mental health with a high degree of empathy.
Learning how to read at an early age, he grew found of storytelling. His curiosity and a penchant for nature walks with his grandmother as a kid also fueled his love for storytelling. His activity as a youth might sound very familiar to some and invites inquiry for those who've been seeking their own connection.
Education was big in his home growing up. Schoolwork came first, and there was no playing until it was done daily. T speaks to the importance of education and Zen offers that critical thinking is
America's national deficit today. He started a college scholarship fund at his church to help give back to the community.
Not only reading, writing was essential for him as well. He shares a bit about his grandfather and inspiration to share his story that he got from reading an article about an elder in their community. T admits writing can be cathartic and transformative, especially in deeply meaningful pieces.
