32: Meet Steve Dunn the founder of TacoJED

TacoJED came to the Rochester area one year ago on October 4th 2018- coincidently on National Taco Day! Steve Dunn, owner, could not have planned that any better! After a year, Steve has truly placed himself at a strategic location and become a local stop for all.

Steve has a vast background in business, real estate, and most importantly tacos! He started out his venture with Rusty Tacos out of Texas-then moved with them to Minneapolis. Some shifts in ownership occurred, and he found himself at a time where he was ready to have something of his own. Steve conducted research on many cities in Minnesota. He finally settled on Rochester due to the largely diverse population and the wave of regular visitors for the Mayo Clinic. Next came time to find the perfect spot!

Steve had a vision when he walked into the location at South Broadway just over a year ago, and knew he found exactly what he wanted! With the right amount of traffic coming through the area, and then designing a welcoming atmosphere he hit Taco gold! Steve aims to create a friendly environment by getting to know his customers, offering live music, and keeping the menu intriguing! Aside from being customer driven, Steve understands how important it is that his employees are treated as family.
