There’s a reality, that wherever you stand chances are highly probable that there are bodies beneath you. Unmarked graves are all around us. Many hauntings are suggested to be the result of desecrated ground.
Even today, any geophysical and scientific analysis of what “ghost” activity actually is, has been sparse in comparison to what it could have been if the phenomena was taken seriously, more often. Millions of eyewitness accounts throughout human history should be enough of a foundation to build upon.
One story in particular fits this criteria. It occurred just outside of Crosby Texas, between 1980 and 1987. It’s called the “Black Hope Curse” and it’s a chilling account of a dark shadow that consumed a housing development. Unbeknownst to its residents, it was built (in vulgar disregard) over an old slave cemetery.
Voices in the night, transparent images of rotten corpses in the hallways, sickness, untimely death and skeletons found buried in the garden.
