On this episode, Taylor and Pat sit down with Simon and Tom of the Carleton University Firearms Association, a school based shooting club out of Ontario. The Carleton University Firearms Association is a student-run club at Carleton University that aims to promote safe and responsible firearm ownership and use. Simon and Tom talk about the success that the club has had when it comes to its events and allowing students who have never fired a gun before to do so in a safe and non-pressuring environment. They also talk about the other aspects of the club like being able to learn about certain unique firearms and having the ability to test them out after doing their research on it. The one thing that catches Taylor and Pat a bit by surprise is how they have received no flak from the student body or the school itself on what their club does. Simon and Tom talk about how it's been a pretty productive relationship between the club and the school.
