The latest drama in college football is taking place out west, as DT Bear Alexander has quit the USC football team and plans to redshirt the rest of the season. This is coming on the heels of UNLV starting QB Matthew Sluka opting out due to NIL disputes. The troubling trend of college football players opting out could become a massive issue for the sport moving forward. Bear Alexander transferred from Georgia during the offseason, after transferring three different times in high school as well.
