Unlike most Maison Dufrene shows, which are mostly comprised of music I came upon over the decade, Archivalesque represents the years before that when I decided to devote close to 98% of my listening to music made before 1980. The archival mixes in this series were compiled between '12 and '14 and contain songs, which were mostly taken from my record collection at the time, that take me back to certain points in my life and music development. It wouldn’t be the least bit untrue or disingenuous to say that THIS MUSIC CHANGED MY LIFE.
