Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. MAIROS has been a professional DJ since 2005. Raised in Crimea his original musical tastes are rooted in the KaZantip Festival. MAIROS is one of the DJs who believe that the key element of any set is the signature style, the fingerprint, the recognition. From 2008, MAIROS has annually played his sets at the KaZantip Republic Festival. Around the same time he plunged into hectic touring life that included hundreds of open-air parties and hot club parties all around Ukraine, Russia and western Europe: the “Cactus” club, the “Golden Beach” club project, the Ukrainian “Techno.Ua” and “Novotec” techno-projects, “Massandra Beach”, “The LAB” (Kyiv), “BOOM BOOM ROOM” (Kyiv), “BARFLY” (Yalta), “Krysha Mira” (Moscow), “SPACE MOSCOW” (Moscow), “KONG” (Munich), “LOFT 4:22” (St Petersburg), the “NEBO BEACH” club project, the ultrafashionable “Gazgolder” and many others. After the summer season of 2015 was over, MAIROS came up big at the “Sanchez Thursdays” at the “Propaganda” club where he started to perform regularly. For the summer of 2016 MAIROS was announced as the headliner for the SUNVIBES — a Siberian top-class electronic music festival held in the Altai Mountains. In the fall of 2016 MAIROS became a resident of the “BESSONNIZA” club in Moscow where he participated in high-profile events along with such stars as SOLOMUN, DAMIEN LAZARUS, CLAPTONE, AUDIOFLY, M.A.N.D.Y. and DOP (Live) etc. Now you can hear his sound in Asia, India, Turkey or Germany. His travel way never stop and that is why MAIROS keeps evolving fast, attracting more and more fans and loyal listeners. Capable of finding common ground with any audience, this DJ may both lead a multi-thousand open-air party and create an intimate atmosphere at a lounge cafe. This is exactly why club promoters see him as a really promising artist and predict growing popularity for him. Finally, MAIROS has been engaged in intensive studio activities that will crystallize into debut releases which multiple fans of this fantastic DJ are really looking forward to. In 2018 he finally released jointly “Black Sea” EP with Dinamica project on Zinger Record! IAfter moving to Germany in 2022 he started working in Studio in Munich on his future tracks and in 2023 he released his debut single release "Acid Tokyo" on Solaris Records Germany. After that in 2024 Acker records released his EP - "Bookhorst". At Summer 2024 he finally made remix for Legendary Giorgio Moroder! Rethinking the world famous track E=Mc2 gave it a new breath with modern Indie wave! Since then, a new stage has begun, which was marked by the beginning of performances in Europe after a studio break! to be continued....
