Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies could have one of the Big Ten's best secondaries in 2024 thanks to coaches John Richardson, Vinnie Sunseri, and Steve Belichick and anchored by Ephesians Prysock, Elijah Jackson, Davon Banks, and Kamren Fabiculanen. The Huskies could also have a strong pass rush anchored by Zach Durfee, Lance Holtzclaw, Voi Tunuufi, and Isaiah Ward thanks to defensive line coach Jason Kaufusi, and will need to make sure they're strong in the front seven as they move conferences. Locked On Huskies hosts Roman Tomashoff and Lars Hanson review each position's strengths and weaknesses, assigning a grade to each for its state in 2024 and for the long term. Fisch's coaching staff has a promising cast of players on the defensive side to work with and Washington's defense could surprise some analysts after struggling for the last two seasons.
