Are we Lost in Religion?
This is the interesting question posed by our Guest Speaker today, Ps Lucas Connell.
Ps. Lucas Joins us on Stage for the First time at Lifehouse Adelaide.
As a close friend of the Lifehouse Family, Ps, Lucas brings a wealth of experience to the Stage.
In this thought provoking message Ps. Lucas' compelling storytelling weaves a wonderful story of how we can be fully engaged in God's house yet still completely Lost to Religion and having a false sense of what the Father wants from us.
Just because we are religious, doesn't mean we are found. God is not a taskmaster issuing instructions for us to follow. No, he is a Loving Father, guiding us and wishing only the best on us, but still allowing us to make our our decisions and find our own way.
Bad things will happen to us for this very reasons but God is always waiting there with open arms to welcome us back into the fold, whenever we want it. However, we need to embrace those arms, not just turn up.
I wasn't sure what to make of this message initially. It is probably why this message has taken over a week to go up.
After taken some time to reflect on it, the power and truth buried in this message transcends generations and is so powerful, it is difficult to grasp on the first listen.
This one has gone to the top of my relisten queue.
