The False Prophecies of LDS non-Prophet Joseph Smith
Manage episode 314518589 series 3087587
In this episode of The Let's Get Real Podcast, I give a response to some of the false prophecies made by LDS non-Prophet Joseph Smith. Deuteronomy 18:20-22 tells clearly about false prophets:
"But the prophet who speaks a word presumptuously in My name which I have not commanded him to speak, or which he speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.’ You may say in your heart, ‘How will we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?’ When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not come about or come true, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him."
A false Jesus, a false gospel and a false prophet, the LDS Church is not a true church. The true Jesus died for your sins, no works required on your part. He died as a substitutionary sacrifice. But He was also risen and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. He did not come to the Americas to preach to the Indians, and there is no archaeological evidence for the Book of Mormon (more on that next week!)
