This time, news director and senior producer of the podcast, Steve Mencher, talks with reporter Ruxandra Guidi. She recounts her decade-long exploration of life for farmworkers in the Coachella Valley east of Los Angeles. Steve talked with Ruxandra to find out how she won the trust of those workers, as they battled for better living conditions while farming the food that ends up on our tables.
