Chloe was a nice dog to look at and reminded my husband, Justin, of a Chow Shepherd that was in his life in the early part of our marriage. Our two dogs missed each other by a couple of weeks. In homage to the family dog, Zoe, we named our dog Chloe which alluded to the meaning of young sprout. She was full of non-verbal cues and gestures that are reflected in the Husky, Arrow, which kept Chloe on her toes. Arrow is now introducing attention-seeking behaviors to our East German Shepherd named Grimm. The dogscanner app isn't declaring Chloe is of German Shepherd heritage so I'm keeping that breed as my wild card. Chloe also isn't the year of the dog, but rather the year of the rat. So the year of the dog will be for me to travel with Chloe in mind and when 2034 comes around, we'll have a party in Chloe's honor.
