Life Isn't Fair with Ryan Simon
Manage episode 267606166 series 2761325
This is the first episode of the podcast, even though it's being published after episodes 2 and 3. I was fortunate enough to interview Ryan, a tattoo artist from Springfield, MO, about fatherhood, nerd shit, and politics in 2018. Much to my dismay, I had to cut out almost all of the tattoo part due to recording software failure. There was an unbearable echo for the entire tattoo conversation, so I regrettably had to cut it. However, I will sit down with Ryan again and talk tattoos with him in a future episode.
This episode took forever to edit due to so many technical issues, coupled with the fact I have no clue what I'm doing, but I'm happy it's finally being ready for your beautiful ears. Please excuse the editing, as this is the very first time I've done anything like this in my life.

Thank you so much for the support and encouragement I've received in the last few weeks. In the next several weeks, I've got some awesome guests:
A trio of ladies, including my ex-wife, drinking wine and talking about immigration law, being a minority in the Midwest, and being women in "Trump's America."
A survivor of physical and emotional abuse, employee for child services in Missouri, all around bad ass.
A firefighter, bartender, and podcaster. This man is my podcasting sherpa.
Two key people in the fight against homelessness in Missouri.
A regional director of education for a correctional system.
An activist in the fight for canine equality, advertising wizard, and long time friend.
My best buddy for over 20 years, who is an exterminator, former rat tail wearer, and natural anxiety tonic enthusiast.
If you have a question for any upcoming guest, bitches, gripes, or complaints, or just want to send some electronic mail, fire away. The address is itseemedlikeagoodideapodcast@gmail.com
