Today's episode is especially exciting to us. We are lucky enough to be joined by Gregg Slater, Head of Education at Lift the Bar. We discuss everything from why dinosaurs are excellent through to nutritional periodisation. The evidence shows that the vast majority of people who undertake a diet end up no better or worse off three years down the line. Gregg introduces the concept of nutritional periodisation and why it can be useful to think of nutrition as being a bit like training in some ways. We discuss diet fatigues, the usefulness of taking diet breaks and why exercise is terrible for losing but excellent for keeping it off!
