We chat with members of two United Way-supported organizations about the city’s Equitable Development Initiative, which was launched in 2016 to help address the displacement of people of color from Seattle’s once-affordable neighborhoods.
Both Jessica Juarez-Wagner of Potlatch Fund and Wyking Garrett of Africatown Community Land Trust believe the initiative has been under attack due to recent city council legislation. Now, they’re spending time voicing support for EDI’s future.

We will also learn about United Way’s new Our Neighbor Fund and hear about a United Way-supported volunteer opportunity.

Thanks for tuning in!
