***** 🚩About My Guest: Dr. Feng Wang is a professor of sociology at U. C. Irvine. His research focus includes contemporary Chinese society, demography, economy and politics.

2. Prudence and Pressure: Reproduction and Human Agency in Europe and Asia, 1700-1900,
3. Creating Wealth and Poverty in Post-Socialist China,

5. China's Age of Abundance: Origins, Ascendance, and Aftermath, Dr. Wang's most recent book, which we discuss in this episode.
