Sometimes we let the chaos of our personal lives prevent us from investing a healthy amount of time and energy into our dreams and goals. I believe those dreams, if tapped into, are the very things that can heal us as individuals, those around us, and even the world. We are often distracted/prevented from being able to develop and hone the gifts we have- the gifts we are, because most of us are crushed under the enormous weight of life's chaos. As we discuss and build a better world, it's all too easy for some of us to assume that the transition between Old and New requires violence. It does not. Violence has a tendency to cause far more damage to the New than it ever does the Old.

As we busy ourselves with the business of designing our shared future, let's try not to build old flaws into our new structures.
