Welcome to another insightful episode of our podcast series. Today, we look into understanding God's constant nature and dynamic operations. Drawing from Matthew 24:35, we learn that "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away." This emphasizes that while God's nature and word remain constant, His operations are progressive and dynamic.
God's movement, which began before time itself, is constant. Essentially, time is catching up with God's movement, not vice versa. This understanding is crucial because it alters our perspective. We often try to fit God into the trends and happenings of our time, but we must recognize that God’s movement is ahead of time. It is our responsibility to align with His eternal plans.
The standards of God cannot change. He is holy, holiness means to be set apart. This principle was evident when God set apart Abraham and his descendants, emphasizing that those set apart must not touch unclean things. As believers, we cannot redefine Jesus or God to suit our conveniences. God is not a Gen Z or alpha generation God; He is the Ancient of Days. His relevance transcends all periods, from before time began, in time, and even after time.
In Genesis 1:1-31, we see the first operation of God on earth: His Spirit moved over the waters, and then He spoke. Information leads to a declaration. Often, we gather information from God but hesitate to make bold declarations. God expects us to use the information we receive to make powerful declarations.
If the Holy Spirit reveals that the devil is attacking our health, we must declare God's word over our situation, such as "I will restore health to you," says the Lord. A closed mouth is a closed destiny. We are encouraged to speak God's word boldly. An open mouth is a ticket to manifestations and an ignition of God's move.
As we move forward, it's important to counteract the negative things the devil shows us with the word of our mouth. Despite the darkness covering the earth, we are promised our light will shine. This is a time for action, not just talk.
