Welcome to Day 19 of our Restoration Series. In this session, we focus on how to respond to God's work of restoration through prayers and His Word. Drawing inspiration from Psalm 126:3-4, this teaching reveals the importance of delighting ourselves in the Lord as a response to His restoration in our lives.
God wants to do wonderful things that will make us very happy. However, true happiness begins with discovering our purpose. Without understanding our purpose, real happiness remains elusive. God desires us to find profound joy in eternal salvation through Christ, who should be our ultimate source of satisfaction. This divine satisfaction leads to ever-increasing happiness.
We emphasize that our environment will only become favorable when we draw from the well of salvation. There is a deep sense of fulfillment that comes from knowing we've done all we can. God calls us to receive His blessings through prayers and studying His Word, leading to genuine, lasting happiness.
Prayer is an act of fellowship with God, a response to His love, and a means to receive from Him. When we reach a point where responding and praying seem unnecessary, it’s the joy of the Lord that keeps us pressing on in prayer.
