The Damned Don't Cry: Five Decades in the Struggle with Frank Chapman Part I
Manage episode 455703486 series 3624664
We're honored to be joined again by the executive director of the National Alliance Against Racism and Political Repression (NAARPR) and lifelong activist and revolutionary, Frank Chapman. We talk about what Frank covers in his book, The Damned Don't Cry, which covers his inspiring life story, from his young years in St. Louis on the streets, to being imprisoned, to writing and teaching Marxism with fellow inmates, to winning his freedom, to organizing with the Communist Party, to his current life as a fighter for community control of the police in Chicago.
This is part I of our interview with Frank about his book. Be sure to listen to part II.
We encourage our listeners to register for and attend NAARPR's 50ᵗʰ Anniversary Conference.
