He was guided by his Dad from the first day he laced the gloves as a raw 11 year old and every other day through a career that saw him win 7 Irish titles and a world Championship Silver medal in Havana 1987. From there he went in to have a phenomenal pro career winning British, Commonwealth and World titles.
