#196 Why You Will NOT Work a 4-Day Week If You Work for a Local Council! 😡
Manage episode 382783569 series 3003707
Hi there!
We hope you can use your employment rights to protect yourself at work. You have a right to do this.
In this week’s episode, we take a look at the battle raging to prevent you from working a four-day week, if you work for a local authority. There are lots of private sector businesses and workplaces that have long since adopted a four-day work week – because of the huge benefits gained on workforce development, particularly at a time when there is competition to recruit and retain the best staff into the workforce. However, it seems that the same approach to recruiting staff – with a four-day work week benefit, is not a welcomed approach in your local council.
Remember… if you need help with four day work week queries or any other employment rights matter - you can find all our support links at the bottom of the show notes for this episode; and, if you would like to book a consultation with us to look at bullying or abuse which you may be suffering at work or any other employment rights concern you may have, you can email us at employmentrightsonline@gmail.com. Alternatively, you can go directly to our consultations bookings page using the Consultations link, which is also in the show notes. Finally, remember you can help us by sharing our podcast information with your family, friends and colleagues and by leaving us a review on iTunes or a rating on Spotify if you enjoy our podcasts.
Until next week
Have the best employment rights week that you can!
