Celebrating the golden ears of House Music A&R Supreme - Gladys Pizarro - this set featured 12" classic bangers from the likes of DJ Pierre, Roger Sanchez, Barbara Tucker, Roy Davis Jr., DJ Sneak, Little Louie Vega, Cevin Fisher, Satoshi Tomiie, Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez, Erick Morillo, Armand Van Helden, Jerel Black, Kevin Aviance, Josh Wink and More!
At the time, gorgeous CD packages had been printed with a custom, 4-color booklet (photos by Bart Everly)and were literally about to ship into stores. They never made it. We grabbed a few - the rest were unfortunately tossed.
We recompiled TURNTABLE CLASSICS: STRICTLY RHYTHM here for DJ peeps and our archives. The 16-song set of dance floor staples includes some of our absolute favorite 12” Strictly Rhythm classics.
There's a also a great continuous mix. Just push play and letterrip!
Totally inspired by many many mornings dancing and hollering to Junior Vasquez and Danny Tenaglia throughout the ’90’s in a vibrant NYC.
TURNTABLE CLASSICS: STRICTLY RHYTHM Original artwork, full credits, industry quotes, 12” catalogue #’s and liner notes (by Kurt B Reighley) were all part of the package. Everything had been remastered too.
