On this episode of DesignIDEATE, we engage in a deep-dive, tracking a spiritual path connected to design, curating wellness in the workplace … more specifically, we will look at the evolution of the workplace and how wellness spaces within are playing a role in hybrid work solutions, the associated spiritual quests that center human beings and the latest in PEMF Magnetic Therapy that provide for rebalancing and resilience.
Lori Tierney, IIDA, NCIDQ, is the Founder of Tierney Management LLC, a strategic marketing, wellness consulting firm and Certified Woman and Minority Owned Business. Lori has extensive background experience in major aspects of the commercial real estate and contract furniture project management industry. For 30 years, she has specialized in strategic selling, marketing and networking leading tech projects as well as entertainment, non-profits, education and government. She helped Delos and iWBI launch the WELL Standard in Southern California. Presently Lori is an Executive Affiliate with Centropix, featuring the world’s leading PEMF/PEMA frequency technology wellness offerings. She is a Partner in First Wave Development, focusing on sustainable design housing. Additionally, Lori has held significant regional positions for major furniture manufacturers and dealers including Haworth, Herman Miller, Kimball and Steelcase. She co-founded Bozarth CM, a commercial construction management company, and is an author and artist. She studied Feng Shui at the International Feng Shui Research Center, and her knowledge combines Chinese astrology and Reiki, centered on improving personal growth.
Educated in design at Cal State Northridge and the Interior Designers Guild, Lori serves on the board of LA Business Council and Downtown Breakfast Club. She founded a Sustainability Summit and green building legislation in the City of Los Angeles and has lectured extensively on the metaphysical.
