Dr. Coplin says the current higher education system fails to serve students, who often view a college degree as something that should serve a direct purpose. Dr. Coplin is the founder and professor of the undergraduate policy studies major at Syracuse University and a prolific writer. He has written over 100 books and articles. His latest book is “The Path to Equity: Inclusion in the Kingdom of Liberal Arts.”
