Today we start the eighth year of Boomer & Gio. Ron Rivera is interviewing with the Jets today. They still don’t have a GM and whoever it is, they have to bring in an alpha male head coach. The GM can’t be the alpha male, the head coach has to be. Boomer doesn’t think any of the QBs in the draft will be as good as Jayden Daniels or Bo Nix. We also talked about Sam Darnold and how the Vikings are likely going to let him go because of the salary cap. C-Lo returns for his final update of the day and starts with the sounds of the Knicks beating the Jazz. C-Lo ran down the college football games from yesterday. Brian Daboll was asked about his offense and Mike Kafka. The Colts had the worst game of tackling against the Giants. Gio said everybody kisses Dan Campbell’s butt. Boomer said the Vikings staff gets tongue bathed just as much. The Moment of The Day: Boomer holding closed door meetings with the boss. In the final segment of the show, we talked about the Giants future and who their opponents will be next season based on the divisions they are playing.
