As a diversity leader, he provides leadership and executive direction to integrate and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) at all levels of an agency's workforce. As a change agent, he develops and integrates workforce diversity strategies for hiring and developing diverse talent, fostering an inclusive work environment, and ensuring management accountability. He also provides expert advice to organizations’ leadership on a variety of equal opportunity, civil rights, diversity, inclusion, and human resource policies and issues impacting their complex and diverse workforce. Lenroy’s life mission has been clear and consistent over the years: to make a difference.
Blending a formal background in the career services industry, with a strong passion for DE&I, he desires to transition to a new career that focuses on shaping the commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. He holds a Master of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Science in Interpersonal and Public Communications. His previous roles include Executive Director, Career Services at Ashland University and Florida International, and Associate Director and Manager at the University of Kentucky and Michigan State. He has been active in several board-of-director roles with American Association for Employment in Education, The Lighthouse Ministries, Inc. and Ohio Career Development Association. Also, he enjoys spending time fishing, actively included with Toastmasters International and a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated. He’s currently the President and Chief Consultant with LJ Enterprise and resides in Decatur, Georgia.
