020. Re: Birth - Poetry & How Jim Would Like to Die
Manage episode 438768577 series 3435863
In Re: Birth twenty-one poems trace the arc of two decades of life, from the youthful uncertainty of twenty to the midlife introspection of forty. This collection dives into the depths of the human condition, capturing moments of identity, struggle, despair, hope, growth, and decay. Each poem was originally written on the author's birthday and marks not just the passage of time but the evolution of the self.
In the storm of life, we call out for an anchor, for rope to tie ourselves to the mast for fear of sirens. These poems represent a search for meaning within the maelstrom.
It releases on Jim's 40th birthday, 9/25/24!
