This week I had the pleasure of having Lontia Kangwa and Sibabalwe Mona, are both residents of South Africa and have lived there for an extensive period of time, for Siba her whole life. I wanted to bring us all together can understand politics in South Africa and discuss how women within the African Diaspora can support one another.

We discussed topic that has been on our hearts and minds since September: The Murder of Uyinene Mrwetyana and The history behind gender-based violence in South Africa

-The History of Apartheid and How it affected black women in South Africa

-Siba and Lontia recount on their personal experiences in South Africa

-Thoughts on how this places South Africa and the the rest of the continent.
