Hi, and welcome to the A Girl and the Word podcast!

My name is Kalee and I am the host of this podcast. I'm a lover of all things coffee, houseplants, and Jesus.
This is the second episode of the podcast and I figured there's no better way to keep it going than with the subject of love. I have to warn you that this episode may rattle some cultural feathers. By this, I mean, I’m going to talk about what love looks like from a Biblical perspective, because at the end of the day, that’s the kind of love that matters and will last.

I will, however, be telling you my personal story with worldly love, and through it, I hope to show you the stark contrast between it and the love that the Bible teaches us.
Now, I hope that you'll listen to the episode with an open mind and heart, and you'll allow God to speak to and renew your mind when it comes to the subject of love. Maybe you'll learn something new, maybe you won't, but more than anything I hope that God reaches you where you're at.
