This was a very special episode with AFGP, where our usual tangential conversations veer into life experiences, current societal trends, martial arts, the NYC fitness industry, and many other existential subjects to relate to all of us!

Garnett is fellow martial artist and fitness professional, with decades of experience ranging from traditional karate, Japanese jiu-jitsu, boxing, all the way to muay thai and brazilian jiu-jitsu. To enhance his skills in communication, Mr. Strother is trained in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and utilizes this technique with his clients.

Listen in as he recalls his beginnings in NYC in the 80’s and 90’s on the lower east side, his start in martial arts, and how he went from working at big names gyms to owning his own training business.
