Ann Grant is an attorney, author, entrepreneur, law professor, mother, and grandmother. She started her family law practice to help women navigate the legal minefields and outsmart the system so that they can get to a new and better life - with their sanity intact and money in the bank. Ann received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she graduated cum laude, in 1991. While there, she served as editor-in-chief of the San Diego Law Review. She was also the editor of The Woman Advocate Newsletter, the official publication of the Woman Advocate Committee of the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association.
Ann’s bestselling book, The Divorce Hacker’s Guide to Untying the Knot: What Every Woman Needs to Know About Finances, Child Custody, Lawyers and Planning Ahead, provides legal, financial, and psychological expertise to help readers skillfully prepare and protect themselves as they navigate the modern divorce—proactively, efficiently, and resiliently. Ann is the founder of Manhattan Beach Family Law, which has offices in Manhattan Beach, Brentwood, and Newport Beach.
Ann joins us to offer her perspective on divorce and living your best life in your 60s. Ann recently turned 60, and here, she shares stories from her own journey and how she’s aging in reverse. One of the things she’s learned is to take the curve balls that we all experience in life and use them as opportunities. The more we do that, the more we determine whether our lives will be big or small. Our conversation with Ann includes advice on how to live through the Gray Wave, live a purpose-driven life post-divorce, what to consider when remarrying, and more.
What’s Inside:

  • Advice on tackling divorce and living through the Gray Wave.
  • What to consider when remarrying.
  • How to discuss finances with your partner.
