From the age of just one year old, Shyluer Holder-Hansen began her experiences of near physical and emotional death. Her early physical illnesses and tribulations. Her childhood molestation by other family members. Her uncomfortable relationships with men as a teen and a young woman. My Story of God’s grace is her testimony to these events as “tests” and her testimony to having discovered and accepted God’s presence and guidance in her life to come to terms with who “She is” according to God’s Word. She has learned that it is not the challenges or the “tests” themselves that make or break us, it is the endurance with which we follow God’s will through them. She has learned that in order to find peace, love and joy in her life, she had to allow God to be the Author and Finisher of her faith. She has learned that faith is being sure of what she hopes for and certain of what she does not see.
