Sheriff Doug Gillespie ALLOWS misconduct to grow within his agency over the years. Over the years you have seen this so-called sheriff throw innocent officers under the bus for minor infractions; Bisch for helping out a dog bite victim, me for failing to read my loan documentation¸ a colleagues of mine for co mingling funds in an organization that she ran, and others in order to through the blood hounds off of the trail of real police corruption: such corruption as Kai Degner and his Ponzi scheme, Lt. Robert Sebby and his drug usage, Lt. Ben Kim and his felonies and now Lt. Steve Menger and is distribution of Narcotics right there in the Highest level of the LVMPD. Such a level that requires a top secret clearance. My brother has a top secret clearance and he cannot even sneeze on the side walk. George Knapp and other members of the scared of their shadow main stream media types are jumping on the fact that Gillespie became enraged and jumped all over the latest corruption. What bias an irresponsible reporting by main stream media. First he should apologize to the tax payers, front line officers, and victims of witch hunts for his incompetent leadership since he was elected to office after his predecessor pulled the plug at the last minute. Second, Gillespie should be forced to hold a news conference as to why this top high ranked official that many patrol officers on the beat knew was selling drugs since 2007!! Lastly he should fire the entire chain of command because this is what Bill Bratton would do. This unit which cost a fortune and drains resources from patrol officers is the stumping ground for the highest level of corruption. You may recall those officers who died in the line of duty because they were forced to speed from call to call in order to get their work done while Lieutenant Menger sold dope on duty right under Gillespies nose!!!
