This Restaurant Banned Vegans. Then Sued Tash for Protesting. (with Tash Peterson) (Ep.38)
Manage episode 440946857 series 2941284
Tash Peterson was recently convicted and forbidden from leaving Western Australia after protesting a restaurant that banned vegans. She was sued for accusing a chef who posed with dead animals of “animal abuse.” And, while pretending to be a farmer, she listened as an angry stranger threatened to kill Tash Peterson – without realizing that the “farmer” he was talking to was, in fact, Tash Peterson in disguise.
But there’s one thing that’s stayed solid and stable through it all: Tash’s belief in pushing for change, even when it’s uncomfortable or even dangerous. And there are important lessons for us all in her story. Give this one a listen, and give Tash and Jack some support!
