Welcome back to the kitchen table. There are days when we feel overwhelmed by the responsibilities that come with motherhood. We may find ourselves struggling, not wanting to cook another meal or face the endless tasks that demand our attention.
1 Peter 5:2-4 offers a powerful reminder of what motherhood is truly about In those moments, it’s easy to forget the deeper purpose behind our role as mothers.
This scripture reminds us that we’ve been chosen to shepherd our children, not out of obligation but with a willing and loving heart.
Even on the hardest days, when we don’t feel up to the task, we must remember that God has called us to this role. We are entrusted with the care and guidance of our kids, and this is a charge that goes beyond ourselves.
