Today’s West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy Podcast for our especially special Daily Special, Smothered Benedict Wednesdays, is now available on the Spreaker Player!
Starting off in the Bistro Cafe, the possibility of a Judge Cannon on the Supreme Court surges into the spotlight.
Then, on the rest of the menu, a $1 million grant from the National Science Foundation is kickstarting a new effort at Portland State University to diversify Oregon’s burgeoning semiconductor workforce; pointing a finger at Louis DeJoy, state election directors from across the country expressed fear the Postal Service can’t handle the expected crush of mail-in ballots; and, scientists have found ‘dark oxygen’ being produced in a complete lack of light from metals on the seafloor.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where a Wisconsin man was charged with fleeing to Ireland to avoid a prison term for his role in the January 6 insurrection; and, Germany’s governing coalition and the conservative opposition presented a plan to protect the country’s highest court against future manipulation or obstruction by extremist or authoritarian politicians.
All that and more, on West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy with Chef de Cuisine Justice Putnam.
