Trump Import Tariff, Climate Change, European Elections

Stephen Moore - Donald Trump spoke about imposing a 10 percent tariff on all goods coming into the United States during last week’s debate. Most Republicans have historically been against tariffs, but now the parties nominee is speaking about it as a positive. Plus, a group on teenagers are suing the state of Hawaii over its use of fossil fuels. Other’s have followed like activists in Vermont and the state of Massachusetts is suing Exxon Mobile for adverse weather conditions.

Matthew Tyrmand - The conservative movement has been on the rise in Europe. France’s Marine Le Pen and the National Rally Movement have already risen to the top of the polls at the European election. Now they set their sights on the snap legislative elections being held this weekend.

Richard Holtforf - Tractor Supply, a retailer that sells animal feed and work wear, is turning its back on DEI amid conservative backlash. They will be removing its carbon emission golfs along with all jobs focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Will other companies follow suit?
