Tony Kumming on Acquisitions and Partnerships
Manage episode 408752436 series 3561152
Tony Kumming, the new president of Pinnacle Funeral Service, joins Tony Russo to talk about his vision for growing the company and the shifting concerns surrounding the succession or sale of a funeral home.
Kumming has been in the finance end of funeral service for 16 years. He started in 2007 with Keystone which was soon purchased by Service Corporation International, an acquisition resulting in the Foundation Partners spinoff. Kumming was folded into Foundation Partners and, in 2012 went to the NewBridge Group, helping funeral home owners set up succession plans so they could exit the business and ensure it continued in their absence.
His new role is an extension of that approach and his hopes for growing Pinnacle are tied to building and maintaining good industry and employee relationships.
