In this episode (which falls during Adoption Awareness Month), we tackle the subject of transracial adoption, from the perspective of two Black adopted women: Cam and Clem. The ladies talk about the politics of adoption, white saviourism, finding their Black identity while living in white spaces and more. It’s important for non-adopted Black people to hear their voices as equally valid, since Black adopted people are often overlooked in the fight for Black liberation.
