Complex rhythms, inspirational lyrics, and all around beautiful. Our Lady Peace - Starseed: an excellent album full of powerful anthems and heartfelt tracks. Harvey Danger - Where Have All the Merrymakers Gone: A surprisingly emotional rock album about living through loss, loneliness, trauma, and turmoil. If all you've ever heard was Flagpole Sitta, you're missing out, because the rest of the album has much more depth... And a song about the Hitchcock classic Vertigo. Yonaka - An artist with truly powerful and emotional vocals and lyrics. Troi Irons - An incredible artist with an incredible voice and a lot of sincerity and compassion. Grandson - An artist with a lot on his mind. Most of his music is centered around political outrage and social justice issues... So... You know, your mileage may vary. But I love his music.
