Good morning, Washington! Bundle up because winter is making a chilly appearance today.
We've got a Winter Weather Advisory in effect, so let's break down what's happening. Expect snow likely between 9 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. Our high temperature will struggle to reach 30 degrees Fahrenheit, and it's going to be blustery out there with northwest winds ranging from 8 to 13 miles per hour, potentially gusting up to 34 miles per hour.
We might see a light dusting of snow - less than one inch - so keep those winter coats and boots ready. Tonight will be partly cloudy with temperatures dropping to around 22 degrees Fahrenheit. Those northwest winds will continue to howl at 15 to 20 miles per hour.
Looking ahead, Friday brings some sunshine with a high near 38 degrees Fahrenheit. The weekend looks promising with temperatures climbing to 42 on Saturday and a stellar 50 degrees on Sunday. By Monday, we'll be flirting with 55 degrees - a nice little warm-up to look forward to.
