I promise I got his permission after he said that to me, but the AUDACITY?? Anyways to finish the trilogy I sat down with someone I've known since 2008, Kyler Dyck. Kyler was born on a winter's night, the 29th of February which makes him 5 years old. Even so, this has not stopped him from being a leader in sport and in life since the day I met him. He is also one of the most loyal people I know, a very admirable quality if I do say so myself.
A simple list of Kyler's life so far:
- Born and raised in Calgary, AB
- Graduated from William Aberhart Highschool in 2018
- Took a gap year to figure things out
- Currently studying a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science at UBCO, but that plan is changing.
- Member of the 2015 Aberhart Jr. Boys Football Championship team
- Member of the 2016 Midget A Provincial Championship team (Lacrosse)
- Member of the 2017 Aberhart Sr. Boys Football Championship team
- Borderline Adrenaline Junkie
- Has a large affinity for falling in rivers
Kyler is one of the most hardworking people I know. While he can be standoffish to start, once he get's comfortable and starts going off, he's blunt and hilarious! Kyler talked about taking time to really find your path, the affects of an ACL tear, a near-death hiking experience & more!
